Abdominoplasty Support: Swelling Issues and Trouble Sitting Still!

On January 13th I joyously went under the knife for an abdominoplasty (with muscle stitching) and a breast lift and augmentation. I am extremely happy with the results, and my swelling is low considering how recent my surgery was.

The issue: I am a really active person (NOTE: I do NOT mean exercise, I mean more like detail cleaning a house active). I am constantly on the move when I am well. Now that I am feeling more myself, I want to be able to be active again. I am very aware that I need to take it easy and am on light duty, but it makes me crazy to sit on my @$$ and do nothing. So for those of you who have gone through an abdominoplasty before or know someone who has I have two questions:

1. How did you get yourself to relax and take it easy?
2. What helped to reduce your swelling?

So far I am eating low sodium for the most part, eating pineapple, drinking plenty of water, and throwing in some green tea to help get the extra fluids out. Are there any little tricks that other people found useful? Foods that were helpful?

Thanks for the love and support guys!!
