Transformation Programs

Ok so I'm going to the gym, have a PT (only once a fortnight) mainly so that I can learn correct form etc. I also try to get to bootcamp once or twice a week.
I am not seeing the results I want. I know that it's my own fault, eating extra carbs here, not being as active or pushing myself as hard as I probably should. I mean I am seeing results but just very slowly, which I guess isn't a bad thing.
I was recently looking at a gym across the road from my work and they have advertised a Transformation Program it's basically a 6 week gruelling program where you exercise, box and follow a nutrition program. But it costs $299 !!
I'm wondering if this is the kick up the bum I need to get where I want? Lean muscle and strength.
Has anyone done one of these? Was it the best thing you have ever done?

You can learn some transformation programs on Bodybuilding.com for free. I did Body for life several years ago, and it worked quite well for me.0

Fitness is a slow, lumbering beast. No 6 week program on the planet is going to magically get you in shape, no matter how hard you work.
Having said that, if you've got money to burn then it can't hurt, I just wouldn't set my expectations too high. You're basically paying $300 for someone to tell you what to do, versus just doing it yourself. For some people that's just what they need. For others it's a waste of cash.0 -
Def do not have money to burn!
I am really after long term results, which is why I have approached my fitness in the way that I have. Slow but steady. I think I am just getting impatient with myself and the process.0
