When do I measure sauteed veggies?
If I am making sauteed mushrooms, I would enter sauteed mushrooms. I entered 2 cups, but that was 2 cups of fresh mushrooms, but mushroom reduce quite a bit. So literally if I pick sauteed mushrooms I should enter what they are after they are cooked. So if I making a veggie scramble, in order to find the amount of sauteed mushrooms am I going to have to cook all the veggies separately?????

I weigh all of my food BEFORE I cook it. I enter it into MFP as raw, because a lot of the time that's actually how I eat it but I don't change it even if I cook it. So no, you don't have to cook them separately but you should *measure* them separately. That's also helpful when you're tracking particular nutrients, if you need higher iron, you can increase the veggie with that and decrease the one without it...see what I mean?

ETA: I just looked at your profile...way to go girl!!! Keep up the great work!

The entries will usually be for raw ingredients unless they state cooked. Also, you're better off using a food scale rather than cups, as the latter only gives volume and not how much you are really eating.
