Hard work is not just for the gym

whilst I am still quite new to MFP I have realised that the hard work is just as much about planning your food as much if not more so than the gym/ exercise. I planed my meals for the week for around 6 years, and have to because my partner works shifts, so it helps to prevent wasting food. Each week I plan for our eve meal, but never bothered with lunch, because my partner takes a packed lunch, I work in catering, so why should I plan mine? That is where it fell down.
So now I plan my lunch too and make a point of taking a healthy lunch to work, and MAKE THE TIME TO EAT IT. I would sometimes skip it.
So now each evening after making the meal he washes up and I make our lunch for the next day!
I have stopped buying the crisps, and chocolate . If it's not in the house I won't be tempted!
I share my diary so if any of you want to have a look feel free, I would welcome some good low carb ideas
