Recommend a workout?

Hi Guys!
I used to use myfitnesspal when I was on the 5/2 diet, but now I just use it to track my daily intake to make sure I'm not eating too much of any one thing.
I'm naturally quite slim and have recently been hitting the gym a lot more to decrease bodyfat % and increase muscle definition.
Can anyone recommend a good all body workout for a beginner?
One of my big hurdles is how lazy I can be in the gym and I don't push myself as hard as I should.
Any response would be great,

See if you can book a free session with a personal trainer at the gym and discuss what you are after with them. I did so once and he set up a really good workout for me, including body resistance and some free weights work. I really ached the next day!0

If you're looking to decrease bodyfat and increase muscle definition then I'd suggest a beginner weightlifting programme. There are a few to choose from using the following link. And I'd recommend buying a notebook and recording your sessions, nothing more motivating than seeing your personal progress on paper and gives you something to work on week after week. Burpees! Fast, complete, and a little painful at first. But when done....you feel great and see fast results.0

There are lots of videos you can try. I like Jillian Michaels, The Firm, and some of Denise Austin's that are more like boot camp or circuit training.
You can also do circuits in the gym with rounds of cardio machines, and then opposing muscle groups on weight machines.
Weight lifting routines, like Stronglifts 5x5 are also good.0 -

Stronglifts 5x5 is one of the best beginner routines out there. About an hour 3 times a week and you will get stronger quickly.0

I am doing this fantastic 90 day programme by Stephanie Oram called XTFMAX it was bought from Amazon, on day 45 and it is great - and nowhere near as expensive as Insanity...0

CLX is a good program, especially for a beachbody product. Body Beast is also a fairly solid BB product if you prefer to follow a video instead of a book.

Does your gym do classes?
I work a lot harder in a class than I do on my own. Circuits, body pump, spin etc. My gym has started a version of cross fit wods too.
Depends on your gym, mine swings towards functional fitness and we have a lot of men who come to classes so they're not girly giggly classes.

^Best for beginners! After you build up your strength you can start looking at other things. Get a foundation first.0
