Does anyone else Spin?

I go to Spin class (in between my normal workouts) about 3x a week. How do you log it in MFP? 1 hr of 'Vigorous Cycling' logs as something like 800+ calories burned. I know MFP over-estimates burns, but this seems so excessive, that I'm afraid to eat back even half of these exercise calories.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

It's based on your avg watts during the workout. could be anywhere from 200 calories to 800 calories. Click on the top button of your monitor and find out0

Yes and there's a spinning option under cardio somewhere. It kind of assumes you worked hard so if you feel like you were slacking a bit, just use the stationary bike option instead.
800+ is a lot but it depends on your stats. I burn around 500-550 an hour doing spin but someone taller/heavier could burn more. (I'm 5'6" and 192lb)0 -
I burn anywhere from 450-660 calories in spin class depending on resistance added and the intensity of my ride. But I wear a HRM, and I'm 5'1 and my weight is in the mid 130s.0

I wear my hrm to log my calories burned with map my fitness, the spin bikes in my classes are manual so no info coming from them0

I do Spin. According to the machine I burn between 500 and 600 calories. My heart rate monitor died so I just enter what the machine says. I only do Spin a couple times a month.0

I just saw the 'Spinning' selection under Cardiovascular. Thanks for the tip. Logs at closer to 550 cals burned. I need to invest in a good HRM, especially because my FitBit Flex ignores everything I do on the stationary bike-- it's like it never even happened. haha0

A trainer told me on average you burn 100 calories every 10 min of moderate cardio....so a 50-60 min spin class could be anywhere between 450-600+ calories depending on how hard you worked...I log the Les Mills RPM option on MFP...it seems to correlate to what my trainer said0
