Machines - Calories?

My husband and I just joined a gym. I have been yo-yoing the past few years but am sick and tired of being fat so I'm taking it serious this year. I have been doing 20-30 min of cardio and some weight training using the machines. I have also done a session with a trainer and I am doing some core training, etc. When I input the information, the only calories it shows that I burn are from the cardio (i.e. treadmill, elliptical, etc.). Does the conditioning not count as far as burning calories?
Thanks for your help.

Yes, you definitely still burn calories. My thought is that they don't tell you how many calories because it's very dependent on how intense it is for you as an individual. I suggest purchasing a hr monitor and you can see exactly how much you're burning. I love seeing the numbers when I'm done with my workout. Good luck!!0
