Hello Myfitnesspal-ers! I'm Becca :) This is my first time posting in a forum and this is just the thread I was looking for :) I am looking for fellow friends and motivational people to help, I'm riding a roller coaster over here of gaining a few, losing a few, etc - it's not fun :(
Here is a rundown of my stats and a lil about me:
I am 32 years old, 5'6, and weigh in at almost 200 lbs. I've actually come a looong way - considering I started my journey over 2 years ago weighing in at 285 lbs! I want to be healthier for my future family if I'm blessed with one and keep up with my boyfriend, lol! Still, we all stumble and fall, give into those weaknesses and lose sight of ourselves. I have done that many times :(
I try to hit the gym daily and do cardio (Spinning fanatic or using the Arctrainer), run a lil (I have terrible asthma and its a bit hard),or row. I do kettle bells, free weights, and use the Bosu Ball. I have dabbled in boot camps and crossfit as well. I've recently begun losing inches but not pounds - it's distracting me as I'm heavier and want to lose lbs - this is where I need someone to help :)
I eat between 1400-1800 calories a day and wear a Fitbit flex. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!

Please add me to your friends list :)

You can add me if you want. When you say you eat that many calories a day do you eat back your exercise?

You're welcome to add me :) I'm 5'4" and started at 225lbs a couple years ago and share similar calorie goals. Can never have too much encouragement or support!

Hi! You can add me. I am new to MFP and still learning how to do things. I'm never sure I'm posting correctly so hopefully this gets through:). I'm 5'2" and CW of 164. Lost 35 lbs 2 yrs ago on Medifast and gained back as soon as I went back to real food. I think I've finally learned it can't be a quick fix! I go on and off diets like turning a light on! I think MFP and supporters will help! I actually love to work out and enjoy all that you mentioned. I also do Taekwon Do with my sons trainer. It's fun and really a workout. I will be 49 in April but don't really feel it. Only thing is I can't overdo exercise like I use to:) so taking it slower. Thank you for posting and I look forward to seeing everyone's success! Also how do I keep in touch? Do I have to click to add as friends or what? Confusion sets in

Thank you for the adds, I never realized how motivational this website can be until I found my voice and starting checking out the "Community" :)

@gappgirl18‌ feel free to add me. I am in just about the same boat as you and could definitely benefit from someone with similar challenges.

Keep up the great work you've done well so far and as long as you keep that positive mindset you can get to your goal. We all fall off from time to time just remember not to let it get in the way from your goal. Keep pushing forward you got this!
