trying to lose weight and reduce blood pressure and cholesterol

Hi, just started my fitness pal, I recently lost 20 pounds with 40 more to go. seem to have stopped loosing. trying to jump start it again. currently trying Jillian Michael's body revolution, at 5:30 in the morning ( with some modifications) as I have a knee injury

    Welcome to MFP.

    Often after a 20 pound weight loss we can go into a holding pattern for a while. I did and decided to cut out all carbs over 50 grams daily and started to lose weight again. I just walk min 1/4 mile a day to keep down hurting the old body.

    Good luck. How long have you been at a plateau? I think sometimes it just takes patience and your body will start losing weight again when it's ready to do so.
  • Ive been on this plateau for about 3 months now, cant seem to shake it. I ve decided for this week to add an evening walk when possible to my morning 30 min work to see if it makes a difference.
