I hate doing crunches :( Is there anything other than surgery to loose that C-section tummy? Tell me what worked for you

I have been doing resistance training. My stomach was literally the last to leave. I'm 8 ounces to goal now and it's just starting to take a nice shape.

^ This is probably your best bet.

I've had 2 csections. I have a little overhang over my scar. However it is looking better as my body fat % decreases. When I'm dressed it's not visible. Will it ever go away? I don't know, but I'm hoping I can at least deflate it some. I'm going to be starting a lifting program soon since for the first time in forever, I have a gym membership.

I hate to say it but even when I was alot thinner I still had overhang from my 2 c sections, I think surgery is the only thing for me, I have across and up and down incision, at this point in life I will live with it, I have for the past 27 yrs, since my last child was born. I got married almost 18 yrs ago and we are about to celebrate our 18th anniversary, my stomach hasnt mattered, yours wont either.

Fat will go away the same way as it does for everyone else: eat less calories. As for the extra skin, if you do have it over the c-section, this might require surgery if it is really bothering you, same as with any other scar, stretch marks etc.

I've had two C's and really, the fat goes from one's stomach, just as it does from everywhere else. You can't spot reduce, but you can lose fat. Lifting will minimize any residual skin, by filling it in with muscle.

I've had two c-sections myself and have lost 25 lbs and now just below my average recommended weight. My stomach is saggy and droops in three areas where I have extra skin and stretch marks (just above my belly button, below that, and just above my pubic bone). The more weight I've lost, the worse it looks. I just turned 41 and am around 23% body fat. I've gained a lot of muscle tone, but my stomach will always be saggy because of the excess skin. I've do think that using coconut oil has helped the appearance of it, but I do not think in most cases it can go away with exercise, I know in my case it won't. I'm scheduled for a tummy tuck 2-25-15...
  • Crunches have been proven to not be all that impactful

    Planks are much more effective.

Also you may want to YouTube pallof press if you gym.

    Good luck!
