How do I calculate how much protein I need when beginning a new "heavy lifting" program?

Eat .8 grams of protein for every pound that you weigh. So if you are 150 pounds you should be eating 120 grams of protein.0

Eat minimum 1g/lb if you're trying to gain muscle. You should be eating a lot, staying away from fats, and really pushing yourself with 12reps where the last is near-impossible to complete.
Good luck!0
