I myself have a polar f7 watch, and whilst it has been a good purchase, it has also brought many frustrations with it. Mid way through workouts it often loses my heartbeat and therefore doesn't give accurate results. This is despite washing the strap regularly and it being a snug fit around my chest.
In case you don't know, its best to wet the fabric that touches your skin immediately under the HRM. If you do that and it still looses the beat you might have a defective device. Polar might replace it for you if the warranty is still active.0
