I go to school 8 hours a day, I normally do good on breakfast and lunch but by the time I get home I'm super hungry. So I eat dinner and then I just keep snacking... Any tips on how to quit snacking or advice in some healthy food that fills the tummy?

Eat air popped popcorn and drink water! Almost no calories but it will fill you up.

You may either benefit from larger day meals or from eating more protein and fat in your evening meals. Healthy is meaningless for weight loss, since something healthy can also be super calorie dense (e.g. nuts).

How much are you eating during the day? What are your macro averages like? How much are you eating period?

I personally do better eating smaller (for me) breakfast and lunch and then eating ~half or more of my day's calories in the evening. I just like being ale to eat lots at night.

At night I try to drink tea. A cup or two usually suppresses my desire to hardcore snack. I still allow a snack most nights. I suggest adding 1-2 middays snacks so you aren't super hungry when you get home. I typically have some fruit, veggies or popcorn.
  • Water sometimes helps temporarily. Nuts and nut bars like KIND bars help fill me up without too much sugar (there was actually a study on KIND and how it helped stop snacking - http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/new-study-suggests-not-all-snacking-causes-weight-gain-92180469.html , take with a grain of salt as this seems to be industry sponsored research)
