Training for the seemingly impossible!

Hello everyone! I've used MFP briefly in the past, but never really took advantage of everything it has to offer. My husband told me today that he's signed us to participate in a Mud Run in exactly three months. As someone who is overweight, out of shape, and struggles to run a city block, this seems like an impossible task. BUT, whether or not I'll be able to finish it, I'm determined to push myself to get in shape and do my best at the Mud Run. I'd like to lose about 15 pounds in the next three months, but with the way I plan on lifting weights it's more important for me to see progress in that area. Three months to see if I can achieve a goal that seems so far out of my reach....
