HCG Doctor Targeting Overweight People On The Street in NYC!

Maybe I am overreacted, but yesterday I went to a street fair in Manhattan and there was some moron (ok, maybe I'm being a little unfair) handing out flyers for "Medical Weight Loss, HCG Diet to overweight people at the fair. I saw him shoving the flyer at many people, and I knew he was going to get me too (which he did). I just politely said, "no thank you". The more I thought about it, the more annoyed I got. Then I actually saw the flyer (someone else actually took it) and it was for the controversial HCG diet which I am SO AGAINST! Last year there was a doctor renting space in the same office as I do offering that diet. It's a hormone shot and 500 calories a day maximum of food. People lost weight fast, but also lost their hair, as well as having many other major health issues. I saw one guy tell the flyer guy off, rip it up in front of his face. I was walking with my boyfriend and this moron flyer guy at the top of his lungs was screaming AT ME for MEDICAL WEIGHT LOSS and shoving a flyer in my face.

Now that I think about it I should have taken the flyer and posted his name all over the internet. He was really pissing people off, including me.

This was just a vent, but I'm still annoyed.

    Some people don't have many options when it comes to work, especially if they are in sales. Likely this person was just doing their job and is not passionate about it one way or the other. Your job as the consumer is to ignore it completely and let your wallet do the talking for you.

    If you know who organized that street fair, I would report that company and tell them they are promoting an unsafe starvation diet. You might also want to report them to the local medical board.
