Hey,
I'm trying to eat a low card/high protein diet. I am doing a fair bit of chicken breasts. I do noticed that the weight of my chicken goes down by about 25% when I cook them (mostly water I guess). So is the calories I find on this site for it post or pre-cooked? Which one should I do?

Select the option that says raw or cooked by the appropriate method depending on when you weighed it.
Pick options with no stars as they are more accurate.0 -
I do mine post weight. I weigh before and after, but the before weight has a lot of water in it.0

You'll find that if you do both with the appropriate weights they should be roughly the same.
But it's not an exact science.0 -
the one corresponding to the entry you're using. Both raw and cooked are in the database - "cooked", if weighed after cooking.0
