In Need of Some Advice...

I'm not sure what to do. I have a person in my friends list who has an obvious eating disorder. They complain because their parents make them eat meals and want to periodically weigh them to make sure they're not losing weight. They're also constantly making posts about how they're mad at themselves for eating more than 600 calories. I want to be supportive of them getting healthy without condoning their very skewed relationship with food. I have reached out and offered support but it was obvious that they are not in a place were they are ready to acknowledge that they have a problem. I'm tempted to un-friend them because their news feed posts are so pro-ana. What would you do?

Delete them, if I knew them personally-get them help.0

Unless you are a trained professional that can help them with their specific E.D., there is nothing more that you can do but delete them.0

Unfriend. It could also just be one of those people looking for attention.0
