I want to try for a baby..but need a healthy me!

Hello MFP Community! I'm Townie, 21 years old and wanting to start a family with my wonderful man. The wedding is just around the corner and after, hopefully a baby! But I have a problem, I'm 325 lbs. I have let my weight hold me back on things throughout my life, but it will not interfere with wanting to start a family! I want to be healthy so I am able to carry a healthy baby and have a healthy pregnancy, and of course a healthy rest of my life. My fiancé and I are doing this together. Any support will be accepted with kindness though. I wish you all the best of luck on this life changing journey!

Hi Townie! I too am trying for a baby! I was 200 pounds when I got pregnant with my first two and at my highest weighed 263. I'm now down to 128

Just know that being over weight increases your risk for some very bad pregnancy complications. I had preclampsia during my first pregnancy and HELLP syndrome with my second. No fun!
