I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder last year and since then have gained over 30 pounds. It's very difficult but I'm working on getting it off. I'm now in college in a new state and its really hard to make friends. Anyone go to GCU in AZ??
Could really use friends and support!!

Hang in there :) Stop into student services, there are folks there who work with students with disabilities. They are a great resource for activities and happenings on campus and may have some suggestions. It is a great way to meet people. Good luck!!!

My heart goes out to you, yes it is not easy to make friends in a new state, new college. I will tell you my daughter has had some hard times in college meeting the right "friends" and it is finally starting to happen. Just be patient, be true to yourself, and it will happen. Good luck in your weight loss journey and your adjustment to college. :)
