Newly Divorced Single Mom

Hello Everyone!! I am a newly divorced single mom that's trying to have a life of my own. I've been on MFP for almost a month trying to eat healthy and be happy. I lost weight ( I was 250 pounds and got down to 220) when I first filed for divorce because I was depressed about the whole situation. I was trying take care of everything myself and make sure my daughter was healthy and happy as well. In the process of that I lost my job, place and car and had to move back in with my soon-to-be ex-husband. Needless to say to weight was put back on. I am now 240 and I'm trying to reach my goal weight of 150. I Know that it will take sometime. I don't know if there is any one in the same situation as me however I would love all the motivation from anyone I can get. I live in Arizona and I have no family or friends here. I just want to get back on my feet and feel good about myself while doing so.

    Going through that is tough, I had to go through it myself and I know how it feels, but you can get through it and make your life better!

    Hi there,
    Sorry to read about the difficult life challenges. I went through something similar ages ago and currently remarried (9 happy years), and 170lbs down from my highest weight ( natural weightloss, kept it off for 13 years). You will find your happy place again I'm certain of that. Add me if you need a supportive sister from a different mister...lol.:ohwell:
