Ordinary to extroadinary

I wasn't entirely sure which section the belongs in so forgive me!
I'm 5'5. 130 pounds. I carry fat on my thighs and butt. My body is average. I work out sporadically. I will have a few days of 1200-1500 then a few days where I don't log. Sometimes I binge and sometimes I undereat as I used to have an eating disorder. But I always bounce back.
My question: how do I be extroadinary? I want to be fit and lean. Like I could walk around naked and look incredible. I know now that doesn't mean thin, maybe 115-120 pounds. But I'm stuck in this 1200 calories sort of trying with macros, sort of working out but not committing. I want to take the steps to change but there's so much conflicting information. I like turbofire and (sometimes!) insanity or jillian michals workouts. But should I be lifting at the gym? I like almond milk oatmeal for breakfast, but should I be having protein?
I guess I'm just asking....what do I need to do to take the next step. I don't want to be ordinary anymore.

To become extraordinary, do valuable things for humanity.
To become fit, get committed to living a fit lifestyle. That includes doing full-body strength training. Jillian's workout doesn't qualify. Popular strength programs here include NROL and Stronglifts, or work with a trainer.
As far as diet, eat enough calories, protein, vitamins, etc. so your body can work its magic.
