So today I did day one of week 5 of the C25K program. I will be honest last week I started to lower my pace. I found the 5 minute run to be a struggle so I did 5.5 for the first three runs and then 5 on my last run. I was a little nervous for the 3 five minute runs today so i went with 5 for the whole thing. I found the workout challenging but doable. Lowering my pace really helped with getting through the five minute runs with slightly less of a struggle.

I was not too concerned with this workout since I had done 5 minutes before but the next one terrifies me! I have found 5 minutes to be a struggle now its jumping to 8 AAHAHHH! and then 20 minutes SERIOUSLY!

Anyone else out there on week 5? I feel like this week is a pretty big jump. How are you progressing with it? I really want to keep up and not repeat weeks so I am hoping lowering my pace a little will help. Any other suggestions?

Everyone has the same thoughts when they see Week 5 - It is a huge jump and once you do the 20 minutes making 5k seems simple afterwards - Lower you pace if you need to and gut out the week as well as you can and if it doesn't work this week try again next week.
