I've been here for 6 months and lost almost 53 pounds on 1200-1300 calories/day with no exercise.

I'm down to my last 9 pounds and would ideally like to lose 1/2 pound a week.

When I set that into MFP it had me at eating over 1500 calories a day. IIFYM has me at a little over 1300. Which one is right?

Oh - I just started doing pilates a few times a week, but 30 minute pilates workouts don't burn enough calories to factor in so I kept my activity level at 'inactive/deskjob/couch potato'. Can someone shed some light on this for me?

My stats are:

Age: 42
Height: 5'8
Weight: 157

Thanks!!!

You've already lost approximately a third of a pound each week. Increase your exercise by a 20 minute walk each day and you'll be there.

Thanks but...what should my calorie goal be? I was losing 1-2 pounds a week up until about 4 weeks ago. I kinda took the month of January off :)

I'm also 5"8 and 42. My tdee is 1600 calories to maintain. I try and stick to around 1300ish calories. I've only got 8lbs left to lose, so I'm still experimenting.
