Do you keep progression photos?

I know there's a section for success stories but I am just wondering how many people are tracking their progress on a weekly or monthly basis and if any would like to share their progress this far? And how long it took to get where they are.

I took a couple pictures when I was first starting. I plan on taking pictures after every 20lb mark. I don't want to take them too close together because if they don't look too different I'm afraid I might get discouraged.0

I do! The scale doesn't move for me, but I can drop inches, and seeing a side by side photo comparison keeps me going.0

I have been doing the same. I was hoping some would share theirs as motivation! Haha but I guess for some that might be uncomfortable. I'll be taking my 3 week progress photo on Tuesday0

I take pictures nearly daily.I upload them to my computer once a month and go over them. I have just over a year's worth.0

Here you go Still got a long way to go, but thought I'd share. The first one is about 6 months apart and 14 lbs or so, the rest are about 1, 30, and about 45 days apart from each other and about 7 lbs difference from day 1 to day 45.

Those are great Tjcarver! Lookin good0

I didn't take any "before" photos and I really wish I had. I completely avoided the camera when I was at my heaviest so I don't have any full body shots to share. I do have some face shots from when I was 230, and I swear I have lost 5 pounds off my face alone. So weird!0

Great job BTW!0

Yours are all pretty inspiring.
I want to keep them but everytime I try I get so hung up on seeing them afterwards that I end up in a rotten mood and binge-eating to make myself feel better!
I once got my boyfriend to take them for me and didn't let him show me them until I'd stopped dieting and that was a pretty good method but it's a lot of effort to ask depending on how regular I want them to be.
How often do you all take yours?
I weigh in once a week so I'd probably take them then.0 -
Progress photos are a great way to help keep yourself on track. Another one is to take a picture that you hate of yourself, and put it on your refrigerator. My fridge has a bunch of pictures on it anyway. I however make sure that I have one there that is a picture of my former fat self that I hate. It is a constant reminder of who I never want to be again.0

I LOVE that idea but idk if I would hve the courage to hang it on my fridge! Haha
I take a photo each Monday to compare when I first started working out

I'm trying to avoid the idea of hating myself and my body and start to love it instead by looking after it so that wouldn't be any good for me!
Perhaps the reverse - a picture where you think you look good would also work as a more kind motivator...?0
