Question about logging exercise with Fitbit

So, I recently bought myself a new Fitbit HR. So far, I'm loving it, but I have a question regarding how to log my exercise now. Previously, I just logged my regular exercise (4.0 MPH on treadmill for 50 minutes + 30 minutes of weight training) using MFP. I always knew that the MFP estimate was probably somewhat off, so I would only log 40 minutes so that I didn't accidentally eat back too many calories, and I would then add back in another 50 calories for the weight training. Since I have the Fitbit now, I was wondering how I'm supposed to log my exercise. Am I supposed to not log anything on MFP and let my fitbit register all activity to adjust my daily calories? Or, am I supposed to log my activity on MFP as normal (4.0 MPH on treadmill for 40 minutes + another 50 calories) and then also include the Fitbit activity adjustment into my total burn for the day? Thanks for the help in advance!

I've been wondering the same thing. I used to wear a polar heart rate monitor while exercising and long everything into MFP. But my husband just surprised me with the charge hr.

    Hi,
When I used a flex I used to log all exercise on MFP just make sure you get your times right then fitbit will not double count. I found the results a bit high so I started logging all activity on endomondo which was sync'd to fitbit this I found far more accurate. I now have the surge which is great because it takes care of everything for you - hope that helps

I log all exercise on fitbit and use MFP for calorie management.
