Hello. So I have been consuming 1200 calories a day and I feel like I am making healthy choices. I have a protein smoothie for breakfast, a 100 calorie or less snack, around 1 lunch which is normally a salad, dinner normally lean cruisine and then another snack which is normally cottage cheese and fruit of a skinny cow product or a couple of rice crackers (60 calories). I wake up between 3-430 every morning and at work I use my pedometer which typically step between 7,000-11,000 a day then I come home and make sure I reach 15,000 before 8 for bed. I lift weights just a little every night.
But anyways I just feel like I am not exercising enough because I am tired from work but I know some of it is probably because of my weight too. I feel like I have no support like I am all alone in trying to get healthy. I feel super motivated now as far as watching what I am eating but not 100% motivated in the exercising part yet.
If I take 15,000 steps a day how much more exercising should I be doing? When is too much? One night I ate around 1400 calories because I was feeling as if the weight wasn't coming off fast enough and I checked my weight the next day and I lost 3 pounds. How is that? That night I ate a salad, cottage cheese/fruit and special k snack. Am I not consuming enough? Seems kinda odd.
Like right now, its going on 7pm. I should be in bed because I have to get up at 3am for work but I feel like I need to walk on the treadmill first but I am tired from working allday. ugghhh....

Sounds like 1500-1600 calories is more your sweet spot mark. It took me a while to find mine. If I eat right I will lose about .1 to .2 of a pound every day. If I eat to little, it doesn't matter what I do, the scale wont budge. Right now 1900 cals is my sweet spot.0
