Hi, ladies!

We have an outside forum called "Remodeling Our Bodies". It is an all female group where we share friendly encouragement and support to one another during this incredibly challenging walk of fitness. It has been running since the fall of last year and we completed our Holiday Season of weekly check-ins and group progress photos at the end of Dec, 2014. Currently, we are in our Spring Season, getting ready for summer!

We are looking for some fresh faces from MFP who log and measure their food daily and who might need a boost of encouragement to remain focused in this fitness game! We offer friendly, non judgmental support and advice based on our own personal experiences, while getting to know one other.

It can be for ANY stage you are in. We have a few who are just a few lbs from their goal weight while we have others who still have a ways to go! The most important thing is accountability and having others there who care about you and your progress.

A little about myself:

I am 5'3" and weigh about 135lbs. I have been married (to my best friend) for 6 years now and we have a 7 year old daughter together. January of 2014 is when something finally clicked for me to change my life and lose weight. I started at just over 200lbs and that is neither healthy or fun being as short as I am. I just depressed and rarely left the house, even for grocery shopping. :disappointed:

December of last year, I met my original goal of 130lbs, having lost over 70lbs in under a year! Watching what I ate by incorporating healthier options and moving around more at first was all I did. Eventually, the weight started coming off and it snowballed from there. Since having met my goal weight, I have struggled a bit to keep it off BUT have also started heavy lifting at my local gym which I love and has helped! I have a passion for people and for fitness so I am here reaching out to you all, to see who may want to come along and join me on their journey!

You can sign up at "R.O.B." (for free of course) with just an email address at:

http://remodelingourbodies.proboards.com

Your request will then be approved shortly, once you register. The only thing we ask is that you sign up using your MFP name so we know who you are. It is a private group for women only also and respect is of the upmost importance!

We do weekly check-ins each Friday, with weight lost, measurements and/or body fat % for those tracking that. Every 4 weeks, we do group progress photos to see how our bodies are changing as well. It is a place where you can feel safe and secure, knowing that there is no judgment (we are all very different and come from different walks of life with many different beliefs as well). This fitness journey can be a long and bumpy road and we need others to help us through the hard times!

I have met so many amazing ladies by being at R.O.B. over the past several months and I have also learned SO much about myself. Hoping to meet more of you and see you meet the goals you have set for yourself!

Good luck to each of you on your individual journey. Best wishes to you all!

It's a wonderful place, really. :) Weekly check-ins help me stay focused, and sometimes we do challenges. =D The layout is preferable over mfp's with a larger group, so that's why it ended up on another site.

Please come check it out! :)
