Boy will i need help with this C25K

Day one is today. I started on my treadmill the Couch to 5K.
My walking pace was 4mph and running 5.5 to start.
I will need motivation and encouragement.

I'm a new member here so thank you.

    Hi Beaches1960 and welcome to MFP.
    Cto5K is a great introduction to running and is the way most of us started . My advice would be to take it slowly, don't be afraid to repeat a week if you don't feel ready to move on, and make sure you get properly fitted for running shoes to prevent injury.
    It would be good motivation for you if you joined one of the running challenges on the fitness boards, I'm on the February running challenge and everyone on there is very supportive , hope to see you there.

    Thanks, My daughter runs and she said she would to do a 5K with me even if I don't run fast. I have orthodontics, so my shoes have to be good.
    I actually felt pretty good after my run on the treadmill, as I'm trying to figure out what speed is best.
    I'm on the treadmill 5 days a week now and wanted to push myself with something new.
