Knee worries...

So, my left knee has always popped alot, but it never caused me any discomfort. Since I started working out it has felt "tighter" at times but still no discomfort. Yesterday was my rest day, but I went for a 3 mile walk with my dog (nothing strenuous) This morning I woke up and there was very minor pain in the left knee that felt like it was going up my quads. I took some ibuproferin and it doesn't hurt anymore, but when I walk there is a really strange feeling that I can't really explain. Almost like a rubberband stretching mixed with the feeling you get when the doctor hits your knee with that little hammer to check your reflexes. It has me freaking out a tad. I wanted to see if anyone else has knee worries that I could compare this with. Maybe to see if this is hopefully something temporary before I get all hypochondriac and call the doctor. Anyone.......
