How that bottle got in her underwear, we'll never know....0 -
^ Hah!
I am a beer lover and went from drinking 15+ per week easily to 6 or less per week.. and 4 of those are on one night Went from 10,000+ calories per month in beer to under 4000... will trim that down some more seeing that number, LOL!0 -

That must be a small G&T! Gin alone is going to run you around 65 - 75 cals per ounce (and in the US a shot is 1.5 ounces). And tonic runs about 10 cals per ounce (assuming not diet).
Edit: I see you said light tonic, so maybe ignore the tonic comment. But be forewarned that while liquor is very efficient calorie-for-buzz wise, you generally are going to bottom out at around 65 cals per ounce for an 80 proof liquor.
I have to admit that I have no idea how much an ounce is - I use 20cl Bombay Blue Sapphire, 150ml Schweppes Tonic & Elderflower Low Calorie and 1 tsp lemon juice and according to MFP that comes down to just over 50 calories. It's a small one but I don't want to get hammered several times a week :P
Yah - wasn't trying to pick on you or anything - just wanted you to be aware that the calorie total *might* be low (which would be more important to you if you were throwing them back regularly and seemed to stall out on weight loss efforts for some "unknown" reason )

Alcohol should still be limited if fat loss is your goal, regardless of whether or not you account for the calories.
Your body actually changes the way it metabolizes food when you drink; essentially it sees the alcohol as a toxin that must be dealt with immediately, and therefore pushes anything else (mixers, the chips and salsa you snacked on, etc.) aside and into your fat stores for later use so it can deal with the booze first.
There is ZERO science supporting this.It also dehydrates you, interrupts your sleep cycle, and causes spikes and crashes in your blood sugar, possibly triggering more cravings and overeating.
But it tastes so yummy! So I don't care.0 -

I didn't take it as picking but you got me worried. Not drinking beer? No problem. Not drinking alcohol? I don't think so!0 -
Whiskey has some health benefits! I just stay away from the carbs ( BEER). Maybe cut your 800 to 400. I know how it is. More ya drink the more ya want. Live life once. Enjoy... OH I have a favorite low ball Minnesota Vikings glass. It's hard not to drink a lot wishing for a Superbowl! LoL!!! SKOL0

I usually have a few drinks only on Friday nights! That's my splurge!0
