It depends on the fat content. You should see the cal and fat difference in the MFP database.0

Fat and protein will vary, even between steaks of the same cut. Also nutritional content can vary based on the animals diet.0

Ribeye steak comes from the prime rib and tends to be higher in fat and calories than NY strip. Porterhouse is the the whole loin which is the strip loin (NY strip) and the tenderloin (filet mignon - leanest cut) They are all listed in the MFP data base0

I usually buy a ny strip and cut off all the fat but my store didnt have any today so i wantes to aee if there was a big difference0

I judge by the marbling. The more marbled the steak, the higher the fat and calorie content, and less protein.0 -
Porterhouse and NY Strip are very similar. Rib-Eye is much worse calorie and fat wise.
I just researched this for myself a few days ago.

trim the visible fat off any steak and it's passable if you care about trying to keep it lean...0

Typically a rib steak will have more fat and calories, than a strip (NY) ....that being said it is my personal fave.0 -
A ribeye will always have quite a lot more fat. But, it also has a lot more flavor. I love a good ribeye. Well, I love any kind of steak, lol. But ribeye is a real favorite. It is much higher in fat calories, though.0
