So what home cooked meal are you making for Valentine's?

We don't do much celebrating, but we always make a home cooked meal and spend time together, so I am curios. If your cooking at home, what is your meal going to be?

Chciken and corn soup, truffled mashed potato, and chocolate mousse.

I'm having a wisdom tooth out the day before, so it's mush all the way haahaa

Making chicken burgers breaded with panko, some rice and a salad that's yet to be decided on.

I haven't decided yet. Roast chicken with a zucchini noodles side dish or meatball sandwiches. Brownies for dessert either way.
  • Spinach salad, venison steaks, steamed veggies, wild mushroom couscous, and chocolate covered strawberries :)
  • Pot Roast with in-pot veggies

It's just my son and I, and he wants homemade sushi with spring rolls, and probably some edamame and maybe dumplings, we'll see how energetic I am!

chicken hearts on a skewer and beef heart stew.

Nah. I actually have a very non-romantic family visit, so probably some cajun-style foods.

We're having a late valentines meal as my husband and sons were all ill over the weekend. Tonight we're having beef steak. He's having a mix grill, I'm just having the traditional veggies, carrots, brocolli, peas etc. and a little peppercorn sauce.
For pudding we're just having strawberries and banana with a muller low calorie chocolate dessert and some light cream. I've eaten light during the day as I'll be indulging in some bubbly and we've got a small box of chocolates between us.
