Getting Started

Hey all, I've finally had it with the weight that I've gained and what it does to me and how it makes me feel. I'm at 241lbs as of Day 1 (Feb 1, 2015) and my goal is to reach 170lbs in 6 months.

I joined a gym, got a garmin vivofit watch, linked that account with this one and am tracking myself and how I'm doing. I'm also going to be doing Weight Watcher, a few challenges during different weeks from friends of mine who are fitness experts or what not, and joining a weight loss group at my gym.

I'm looking forward to this journey. I'm keeping a journal, titled "My Journey to Thin" and making this a total life change for me.

Hope to be an inspiration to some and get inspiration from you as well.
