After 55 pounds lost and a trip to Thailand I'm finally getting some comments! Pictures & Elephants.

I just got back from a trip to Thailand and shared the pictures on facebook. I usually don't post pictures of myself to facebook, so I was shocked to see all the comments concerning my weight loss rather than the trip itself. I broke up with my girlfriend last November and have been feeling really self-conscious about my looks and self, but it feels good to finally reach that point of weight loss when people are noticing without seeing a before picture. Damn proud of myself.

Still got about 10 pounds to lose, but it's a good feeling.

I'm not sure whether or not to take that as a compliment but what the hell, thanks! Hahaha.
  • I just got back from Thailand myself. Out of curiosity, did eat the local cuisine or search out more familiar fare. I went native (mostly vegetarian) and only came back with 3 extra pounds. Lots left for a return visit.

I actually spent a ton of time sightseeing and relaxing and not much time eating. I did sample a few Thai dishes, but I currently live in Korea so I spent most meals getting foods I can't find there (like any mexican).

I maintained. Did a ton of walking, which helped

Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Wasn't a massive fan of Bangkok, but Chiang Mai was so incredible.
