Just want to say, as one of the many people new to mfp who is wondering "but I've been keeping under my calorie goal AND exercising so why haven't I lost weight????!" YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!
Having started about 2 weeks ago, I've been between 1200 and 1400 cals a day, working out a mix of cardio and strength 6 days a week, and I haven't lost a pound! BUT I am writing this open letter to myself mainly, but to keep on going! must be doing something right as my waist is down 4 inches (!) bra size down 2 and already got rid of 4 bags of clothes that really are too big.
And to top it off I'm being told "wow you look great, have you lost weight?"
So, hands up to those who know they are doing things right and are learning the bigger lesson PATIENCE!!
