Need some Encouragement/Tips from fellow MFP's :)

I joined MFP last year in the hope of losing these last stubborn 20 pounds. At my highest I was 182, which was heavy for my 5'6 frame. I am currently 165 with an ultimate goal weight of 145. Hubby and I will be going to visit my family in Louisiana in four months & I would love to hit my goal by then. Has anyone out there hit the same or similar goal in four or fewer months? What helped you the most in reaching your goal? Thanks!
