Hi All
I am unable to run due to having really bad shin splints
I am looking to loose around 20 pounds in weight
I currently do around 30 mins on epileptic trainer 3 times per week
any idea of work outs?? weight training? body exercises?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

All of your ideas sound good. Do interval training with a recumbant bike. Add strength to your routine and you'll see more results than doing loads of cardio.0

any suggestions for strength training?

Walk if you can't run. To try to eliminate getting shin splints. Stand on the edge of a step with your toes on the step and raise and lower your self for 3 reps of 10. When I started doing that I quit getting them. Good Luck0

Can I suggest you go get shoes properly fitted. I used to get shin splints, I changed shoes to ones that benefited the arch on my foot (I'm pigeon toed) and shin splints be gone!!0
