Excercise calorific estimates.

Is it me or do the calorific estimates for excercise seem way off generally, discourages me from logging them as it skews the daily kcal deficit IMO

To summarize, you'll get these responses: "Yes, they're horribly off, don't eat back calories". "No, they work great for me". "Use an HRM, it's much more accurate". "Don't use an HRM, they don't work for xxx exercises". "The MFP method involves eating back calories. Live it. Be it. Do it." Eat back only xx%".
It's all estimation. Don't eat back or eat back...whatever -- what works for someone else won't necessarily work for your situation. You adjust up or down as time goes on and you find out what works for you.0
