I'm trying to lose weight for health reasons due to my age, but I'm having the hardest time committing to my daily exercise goals. Urghhhhhhhh!

Baby steps ... You didn't cause the weight to happen over night... You won't lose it over night. Be forgiving to yourself. You will always be your own worse enemy in the weight loss game ( I know I am ) we are all here to help w advice or motivation. Friend request me if u want:) good luck to you:)

As nikkyt30 said. You'll have to pace yourself. Set small goals. Its hard and it become discouraging at times, but small changes over time add up to big changes.

I don't know your stats, just a shot in the dark here- I recently started hormone replacement therapy, and my husband started testosterone replacement and its helped with motivation for the both of us.
  • I understand! I would do really good for 3 or 4 days.. then just "quit". I joined a gym, I have a treadmill at home, doesn't matter.. I just stopped doing anything to help myself. THEN.. My friends and I each bought a Fitbit. IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE! The competition is ON! We can see each others steps taken and its turned into a friendly competition. It has been over a month, and I have been so driven to keep my steps at #1 that I am up to walking 5 miles a day on my treadmill! Good Luck!!
