    I think cats are awesome, but I would never own one...

    They are by far the world's most successful predator, with a success ratio of about 95%... Followed by the mountain lion which is successful about 85% of the time (also the closes relative of the house cat)

    Nothing else comes close, by comparison great white sharks and African lions are only successful about 35% of the time!

    They are also the only animal other than humans that has been known to hunt purely for sport....

    i once heard a story of a guy who came home after being gone a few days and his roommate had died while he was gone and *the cat had eaten part of his face*

    prior the cat was friendly with the roommate and generally a good kitty

    i’ve never looked at my cats the same way since

    I've also heard that they are the only animal we know of incapable of empathy, or maybe it was sympathy...
