Both spellings are fine, I think 'moustache' is more British but I've seen 'mustache' everywhere online.
It probably works better on other guys, I've never found it to suit me sadly. My ex said a 'stache turned me into Tom Selleck 😩1 -

I'm pretty sure 'moustache' is English/Canadian whereas 'mustache' is American. Americans seem to like dropping extra letters
