Cheat meals

Cheat days do seem counter-productive (I don't do it now). I used to Live for "cheat day"! But after pigging out I felt like crap the next day! Physically- still full, draggy, blah...A trainer told me to cut it down to 1 cheat "meal" per week. Much better idea. I still got to indulge in a big devilish desert or pizza, etc., and I didn't gain! I exercised a Lot though. Now I try to have a small, controlled indulgence daily. I'm not sure which, if either, is best. It just makes sense, though Not to undo all your hard work by pigging out all da! However, feeling deprived is Not a good idea either! If I have a big restaurant meal, I try to offset it by having smaller snacks/ meals the rest of the day...
