How to Calorie count when making food from recipe

Hello, I'm new to this whole calorie counting way of life and am having a hard time figuring out how to make healthy foods from recipes and inputting the correct amount per item so it can add up the calories. Please help!!!

There's a recipe builder on here. You enter the ingredients, select the number of servings and you're good to go0

If you are cooking for youself, weigh the ingredients using a food scale and add them separetely.
If you are cooking for other people too go to your food diary and click the recipe option to add yours.0 -

For things I cook regularly I prefer to use the meals function and just divide up (eg if I make my waffle recipe, one day will have 0.5 of all the ingredients). It means when I remake recipes down the line, it's much easier to make small amendments to the composition of the meal if I change the ingredients slightly. Happy for you to take a look at my diary if that helps. I use the recipe function, but less frequently.0
