Over Thinking the Day

I go over the day's events at night when I unwind and I want to munch out while thinking of it all. Help!

    You can save calories and eat something light like a 100 calorie bag of popcorn if you must eat while mulling over your day. You may want to try doing some activity that engages your hands, like crocheting, while you think over your day instead of eating to keep your hands busy. Possibly try writing down your thoughts to help you unwind and keep you from reaching for food.

    Maybe take a hot bath while mulling over your day? It will relax & occupy you, and it's difficult to eat in the tub :) I also like @debubbie 's ideas... low-cal snacks and/or shifting your activities definitely helps! :+1:

    Thanks, all! I talked to some friends, read for a while and ate a 60 calorie serving of oyster crackers!
