  • Have you lost any weight? If so, have you adjusted your weight in MFP? As you loose weight, you may need to adjust your calorie intake. Also, are you sure that you are logging your food intake correctly? How about those little tastes when you are cooking, or perhaps scraps off the kids plates? Just some ideas. I have my g/kids from school twice a week, and on those days add into snacks "Incidentals, vitamins, tastes, bites" it is 100 calories. Just some ideas. Do you weigh on a regular basis, once a week, same time, same day? Have you tried the clothes test? Try on something that was too small and see if it fits you better. You may be loosing more than you think. Just keep going, even a little is progress.

Sorry-you have to give more information to let people help you, and open up your diary. How long have you been on MFP? How much do you want to lose? All of this info counts. The basic answer is to watch very carefully your calories, and are you weighing and measuring accurately? I also do acqua-gym and so I know that it's an excellent workout if you really push it--extra reps, no resting between movements, etc. Some people in my class just slowly, halfway do the excercises. Now, don't get me wrong. If you are just starting, or have alot to lose, you should move a little slower in the beginning. There is usually a good reason why the weight isn't coming off. Do not give up. This site really helps lose weight in a healthy way. You just have to find out why you're having a problem. As far as juggling a family at the same time--there are often posts about that with lots of good ideas. Use the search function. Best of luck to you, and hope to see you in the future as a great success story. :)

What's your height, current weight, goal weight loss per week, activity setting

Weigh and log your food - choose carefully and double check
Only eat back 50% of calories estimated burned in exercise from the MFP database

Open your diary for specific advice

" but don't seem to be losing very much weight or i just don't feel like i am."

    Numbers?

" how do you all manage , 5 kids, house, working, sports, training, being taxi, house maid etc etc......any suggestions. "

Just to point out that being busy burns calories, it's helping you as much as you might feel it's hindering you. Primary focus has to be on eating the right number of calories to achieve your goal.
