Hi Folks,

I've been dieting my whole life. In the last 10 years I dropped 50 pounds and have kept it off for the most part. I have 50 more to go and I really want to do it. I want to know what it feels like to be thin and firm. I also think it will make my golden years better and I know it will make me feel better about myself.

I have a problem with night time eating. I do well during the day, but nights are tough. I've done it all. I go to the gym 5 days a week at least. I'm hiring a personal trainer and I'm logging my food. As I'm older it is harder to lose weight.

Questions

I have 6 months to lose 50 lbs. I want to be able to still go out with my girlfriends etc. so I was thinking of trying 1000 calories a day (high nutrition) and then two cheat meals a week. Does anyone have experience with something like that?

I would love to hear your story if you've lost 50 pounds and you're over 50!
