I'm 22yrs old and I'm wearing a size 6 in woman's jeans and a size medium shirt. I honestly haven't weighed myself recently but my overall goal was to fit back into my size 4 jeans. I am close to my goal but I still have some extra fat i want to get rid of. I run about 3- 4 times a week 3.10 miles each session at about 5mph. I also do a fast paced zumba class once a week. Are there any tips as to how I could up my workouts a little just to tighten up a bit?

Run about 5 miles per workout at about 7mph.

Side note: personally I find 5mph to be a really awkward speed to maintain, it's sorta between a walk and a jog

It is a little awkward but I got horrible shin splints when i did a 6.5 mph jog on the treadmill a month ago. Maybe i didn't stretch properly after the run but I've been a little nervous to go faster. I don't have this problem when I run on trails though.

Increase any combination of: time, distance, intensity, frequency.
Intensity could be speed or incline.
    Add another zumba class.
The cardio is burning calories; add weightlifting to build muscle & lose inches (to fit in those tiny jeans).

However, you should be looking at your intake if you want to lose weight:

"Most weight loss occurs because of decreased caloric intake.
However, evidence shows the only way to maintain weight loss is to be engaged in regular physical activity."

You might also want to plug your stats into this body fat calculator to see if you're already at a healthy body fat percentage, and if your goal is healthy / reasonable.

I'm currently eating 1,200 calories. I read online that if I go any lower it would harm my body rather than do good. Usually I burn between 400-600 calories per session. the 600 calories are from my zumba classes. I also use a fitbit flex wrist band to help keep and accurate count of how many calories I'm burning daily.
