Hi All!

So I have just had spacers put in so it is very hard for me to really chew anything right now. I have been able to eat eggs and grits but everything else has been really hard to handle. Any tips or tricks or recipes for this time in my life would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much

My daughter had to have spacers before she got her braces in. Feel better!

I've had some medical issues which required me to have surgeries and each time was unable to eat solids for weeks. Ugh. Totally sucked. Soups, shakes, and smoothies will be the most filling. If you can chew eggs, you may be able to chew fish - it's flakey/soft and breaks down easily. Yogurt got old fast with me. I never want to see yogurt again. lol

You can cook any meal that you normally do -- like chicken and rice or stir fried veggies -- and put it in the blender with water and broth.

I blend veggies and broth like that to make yummy gravy...it would be good thinner consistency too. Great idea!

I had some tooth issues and after about 5 days of yogurt, etc resorted to baby food. It was actually quite tasty!

do you like cottage cheese? that's so yummy to me and doesn't actually require chewing
