Questions for facebook people!
So here's the deal..I want to join an accountability group for insanity but the only way to join the group is to have a fb account. I had one back in 2009 but I deleted it because it was too time consuming and my husband flipped out when my ex bf sent me a friend request, which I didn't accept. Also, my scumbag SIL is on there and was always stalking me.
So the other day I logged back on after 6 years of being off, changed my username, and replaced my pic with my dog's pic. Everything was fine until I had 2 people send me a message including my scumbag SIL! How did they know I re activated my old account???? So today I deleted it again and was wondering how I can be invisible to everyone except the person who is running the accountability group.
Should I just create a new account all together using a new email address? I don't know how FB works but how would people know I was back on after 6 years??????? I'm very frustrated!
Thanks,
Lisa

Anyone who looks at your their friends list and has a "greyed out" friend, it usually means they deactivated their account. You will show back up in their friends list as normal as soon as you reactivate. If you reactivated your old account, you will show back up on your "friends" list and will again start showing up in their newsfeed - your account has always been there, it's just been dormant.
You have two options....delete your account completely and start again with a new e-mail address, or just block and/or delete everyone on your friends list and keep it just for this group you are trying to be.0 -
If I delete them as a friend will they know it? I don't want to be mean at all but I just want this account for the accountability group and that's it. Thanks so much!0

Oh, and how do I delete my entire account? Is that the same as deactivating it? Can I then sign up again with my same email and not be seen? Sorry, fb is confusing to me!0

It won't send them a notification saying you deleted them, but if your friends on there go to look you up, they'll see you're not friends anymore and figure it out.
If I were you, I would just delete it completely and start over.0 -
If you delete them as a friend, yes, they will eventually notice that you aren't their "friend" anymore. If you block them, they will probably never know.0
