Not to be purposely rude or ungrateful but if you are going to post food on the public diary and not your own personal food diary please be more specific in measurements. Saying a "slice/sliver/piece" of something is 390 calories only helps yourself as what you consider a "slice/piece/sliver" of something differs possibly from what the rest of consider. If you are listing something 'homemade' unless the recipe is included or you didn't followed package directions and made a lot "healthier" changes unbeknown-st to the rest of us this should be in your personal meal diary( we have this option when we create new food items right? Or am I misunderstanding?. what good does listing the calorie count for a box of Kraft Mac-n-cheese that you have drastically altered by adding/subtracting ingredients (with tuna & peas/ with margarine/ without salt? It just seems there are a lot of the same foods listed but people are using vague terminology [slice, generic - chocolate cake (duncan? pillsbury? Publix?)] or ingredients specific only to their current meal.

I list homemade things in the database all the time but notate "Lacey's HomeMade". This is the only way my husband can add things to his food diary without having to manually add ingredients one by one.

I agree about serving sizes and more clear titles though.

Not only diary but I usually don't share foods that I enter if they aren't from a printed box (wrapper) partly for this reason.
